Vintage Lord Ganesh hand carved with a single piece of bark from the alstonia scholaris tree or 'devil's tree' as it's known in English. The hand painted details have a distressed look done in bright colors of red, blue, yellow, orange and green giving it a unique look. Due to the vintage nature of this item it has some repair work done to it which can be seen in the 3rd and 5th pictures. Hand made in Nepal where the devil's tree can be found in abundance.

Also known as Ganesha, Ganapati, The Lord of Beginnings, The Remover of Obstacles, and The Deity of Good Fortune, Ganesh is perhaps one of the most well-known deities. 

Ganesh also has a single tusk which signifies one-pointedness.
